Appointments

How to make an appointment

We will not tolerate any abuse, verbal or physical, directed towards our staff.

We operate both a triage and face to face appointment system whether for urgent or non-urgent appointments.  If you wish to book a routine telephone consultation or face to face appointment in advance please telephone after 10:30 am.

If your condition will not wait and you need to see or speak to a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner, we ask that you phone between 8:30 am and 10:30 am on the day you are able to receive a telephone consultation or attend an appointment. You will be asked by the Receptionist to give brief details of the problem and then a member of the Practice Clinical Team will call you back.  Please do not request an urgent call on the day if you are not able to attend a face to face appointment on that day as this may be the end result of your telephone consultation.

For non-urgent requests for appointments you can also email reception.broughtonmarches@wales.nhs.uk or enquiries.buckleymarches@wales.nhs.uk  - You would need to provide your name, date of birth, contact details and a detailed description of your medical problem.  Please note this is for non-urgent issues and you may be given a triage appointment or face to face appointment anytime within the next 4 weeks or longer. (You will receive an automatic reply from the email stating clinicians do not have access to the emails, but you will be booked an appointment by a member of the administration team and advised when this will be.)

The email addresses can also be used for sick note requests, repeat prescriptions and informing us of changes of your address or telephone number.

For test results please call after 2PM.

Prescription requests should be posted, dropped off, emailed or submitted via the NHS Wales APP.   If you need anything posting, please send us a stamped addressed envelope with your request.

If you are asked to attend the surgery, do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment time. This is to help maintain social distancing in our waiting areas.
